Medicated baths relieved her cracked skin and sores, while she gradually revealed her lively personality. She bonded with her canine friends, Tiki the pug and Ginger, a senior dog. Despite her past struggles, Jewel’s capacity for joy was astounding.
Several months later, Jewel found her forever home with Joe and Susan. Embraced by their love, she blossomed. Jewel reveled in life’s simple joys, from playing in the snow with her new family to enjoying ice cream on sunny days. With each playful leap, she displayed the joy of a dog who had faced and overcome unimaginable odds.
Today, Jewel is the epitome of health and happiness. Her coat shines, she has gained weight, and her sparkling eyes reflect her triumphant spirit. It’s astonishing to consider that this vibrant, strong dog was once at death’s door as a fragile puppy.
