Unfortunately, some outdated and harsh practices still persist, such as using hot irons on dogs’ noses in misguided attempts to boost immunity and treat ailments like distemper.
Despite his friendly nature, Remy has been left on his own because no one in the area was willing to adopt him. The rescuers endeavored to find him a home locally during their campaign, but met with little success.
But not all hope was lost; the team decided to take Remy with them and began searching for a loving family beyond the confines of the rural community.
Remy’s sweet demeanor clearly makes him deserving of a happy home, and the dedicated rescuers are committed to finding just the right place for him to thrive.
