In an industrial area of Anand, a dog named Anya lived alongside her puppies, facing a difficult situation. The team at RRSA India first secured the safety of Anya’s pups by relocating them to a safe environment, then returned to rescue their mother.
When Anya was found, she was visibly frightened and confused, with severe injuries. Her primary concern was her missing puppies, so much so that she refused to eat and made no attempt to flee, seemingly pleading with rescuers to reunite her with her young ones.
The team carefully transported Anya to the RRSA Animal Shelter. Once she was back with her puppies, a noticeable relief washed over her, though she remained fearful. The presence of her puppies offered her comfort and a sense of security.
Anya was in poor condition upon arrival. An infection in her eye was critical, and her skin bore the marks of prolonged suffering. She received IV fluids to stabilize her condition in preparation for emergency surgery. Although her eye could not be saved, the surgery was successful, and Anya began her journey to recovery, growing a bit stronger each day.
Her appetite gradually returned, her skin started healing, and she found solace in staying close to her puppies. Despite the scars of trauma, Anya’s resilience was evident.
Anya’s move from the tumult of the industrial zone to the shelter’s safety marked a significant turning point in her life. Thanks to the timely intervention and compassionate care of her rescuers, she now has a chance to make a full recovery and look forward to a future filled with love and peace.
