This puppy had been in the care of a neglectful owner, enduring prolonged periods of starvation. With a strong will to survive, the puppy escaped and wandered the streets, though its health remained poor.
Despite its tough circumstances, the puppy displayed an unexpected warmth and trust towards its rescuers, revealing its resilient nature and desire to live.
Understanding the urgency of the situation, the puppy was swiftly taken for medical attention. Its immune system was critically weak, with potential for its condition to worsen.
Even during the initial examination at the veterinary clinic, the puppy gazed at its caregivers with hopeful eyes. Encouragingly, it showed a strong appetite and began eating eagerly.
Affectionately named Tulip by her rescuers, each day saw marked improvements in her condition. The transformation was remarkable—what had once appeared to be an old dog was, in fact, a vibrant, young puppy.
At first glance, it was hard to believe the seemingly “old dog” was actually a puppy all along!
