Upon receiving Horatio’s diagnosis, the brewery staff were heartbroken, and they reached out to their supportive community through social media.

They shared a heartfelt message: “Our cherished employee, Assistant Manager Cat (also known as Horatio), has been diagnosed with cancer in his right hind leg. Fibrosarcoma is more common in cats than many realize.

We hope to shine a light on feline cancer treatment and provide support to other pets and their families in similar situations.”

Collin Castore, one of the co-founders of Seventh Son, fondly remembers Horatio’s early days at the brewery. He recalled how Horatio wandered into their neighborhood and quickly became an essential part of the team.

“He’s been our all-natural pest control, friend, and mascot since almost the day we opened. We didn’t set out to have a cat mascot, but he won us over. Our guests adore him, and our staff loves him,” shared Collin.

Horatio’s friendly demeanor and natural charm made him the perfect candidate for the role of brewery mascot. He became a beloved figure to the community, joining patrons on the patio and enhancing their overall experience.
