The puppies had been located at a garbage dump, utterly immobilized by the sticky substance.

Understanding the urgency of the situation, the rescue team acted swiftly. They knew that the longer the tar remained on the dogs’ skin, the more difficult it would be for them to breathe.

Once at the rescue center, the dogs were given antibiotics to relieve their pain and help them calm down.

The main challenge for the volunteers was to remove the tar without causing any additional harm.

With immense care and compassion, they gently applied oil to the dogs’ bodies, which slowly helped to loosen and eliminate much of the thick, sticky tar. This painstaking process took several hours, but the volunteers persevered with patience and love.

While still attending to these two dogs, the rescuers received another urgent call. Arriving quickly at the new site, they discovered two more dogs similarly trapped in tar.

These dogs were also taken back to the shelter, where the team worked diligently to clean them. It soon became apparent that these new arrivals were siblings of the first pair of rescued dogs.

Late that night, the team joyfully reunited all four siblings, who were finally safe and together again.
